Buying Tickets
How do I buy tickets?
Download the Mega Tickets USA app, browse hundreds of events across 65+ US cities, select your tickets, and pay securely with any credit or debit card. Every transaction is protected with 3D Secure verification.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards via Stripe and Square. Apple Pay and Google Pay coming soon. Orders over $100 can be split into 4 easy payments.
Can I buy tickets for someone else?
Yes! Purchase the ticket and use our secure transfer system to send it. The transfer requires selfie verification and a 6-digit email code for security.
What are the fees?
Just 2% + $0.99 per ticket. the lowest in the industry. For comparison, industry-average platforms charges up to 25% in fees. You save on every purchase.
QR Code & Security
Why does my QR code keep changing?
Our Authenticator QR uses bank-level encryption (HMAC-SHA256) and rotates every 30 seconds. This makes screenshots completely useless and prevents ticket fraud.
Why do I need to enable GPS?
GPS verification proves you're physically at the venue. This protects you from false chargebacks and ensures only the real ticket holder can enter. Your location is encrypted and never shared.
Can I screenshot my QR code?
No. screenshots expire in 30 seconds. Your QR code only works live on your phone with GPS active. This is what makes our tickets fraud-proof.
What is the circular timer on my ticket?
Like Google Authenticator, it shows when your QR code will refresh. Green means plenty of time, yellow means refreshing soon, and red means it's about to change.
Food & Drinks at the Event
Can I order food and drinks from the app?
Yes — at events where the organizer has built a menu. Tap the "Food & Drinks" tab on your ticket, order, pay with the same card you used for the ticket, and show the voucher QR at the bar. Learn how it works →
What happens if I order a drink but forget to pick it up?
Vouchers don't expire during the event. Bar staff can see the voucher is unredeemed and serve you whenever you show up. After the event ends, unredeemed items follow the organizer's refund policy.
Can I order alcohol if I'm not age-verified?
No. Alcoholic items are flagged and only show as available to verified 21+ profiles in the US. Verification takes 30 seconds →
Can I order multiple items on one voucher?
Yes — and you can redeem them in pieces. Order two beers and a snack on one voucher, grab one beer at the start of the show, come back for the rest later. The QR tracks what's been redeemed.
Age Verification
Why do I have to verify my age?
Only when you're entering 18+/21+ events, ordering alcoholic concessions, or activating Mega Dating. General-admission tickets and browsing don't require verification.
How long does verification take?
About 30 seconds for most people — a single selfie. Our automated system returns an age estimate plus a liveness check. If the estimate is borderline (close to 18) we ask for a government ID as a fallback, reviewed by a human within 24 hours.
Where does my selfie go?
To our verification provider for processing. The selfie itself is discarded after the result is returned — we store only the verification status (verified / not verified / age range). Never shared with organizers, advertisers, or third parties. Read the full privacy details →
What if my verification is rejected?
You can appeal. A human reviewer looks at the case within 24 hours. Most rejections happen because of poor lighting or a blurry selfie — usually a re-take fixes it.
Transfers & Refunds
How do I transfer a ticket?
Go to My Tickets, tap Transfer, enter the recipient's email, take a verification selfie, then enter the 6-digit code sent to your email. The old barcode is permanently destroyed and a new one is generated.
Can I get a refund?
Full refunds are available within 14 days of purchase, before the event date. After check-in, refunds are not available. All refund requests are processed within 5-10 business days.
What happens to my old ticket after transfer?
The original barcode is permanently destroyed and cannot be used again. The new owner receives a completely new, unique barcode with full security features.
Mega Connect
What is Mega Connect?
It's our social feature that lets you meet people at events. Choose Dating mode to find romantic connections, or Business mode for professional networking with LinkedIn integration.
Do I need a ticket to use Mega Connect?
Dating mode requires an active ticket for the event. Business mode is free and available to everyone. no ticket needed.
What is Mega Connect Premium?
For $9.99/month, get unlimited swipes, see who liked you, share phone numbers in dating mode, priority matching, and read receipts.
Account & Privacy
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings and tap Delete Account. All your data, tickets, and history are permanently removed within 30 days as required by law.
Is my location data shared?
Never. GPS data is used only for ticket verification at venues and is encrypted end-to-end. We don't sell or share your location with anyone.
What is 2FA/MFA?
Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of protection to your account. Enable it in Settings to use an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy) alongside your password.
How do I contact support?

For Organizers
How do I create my first event?
Download the app, sign up as organizer, tap Create Event. It takes less than 5 minutes. Your event goes live instantly.
When do I get paid?
Payouts are processed automatically 2-3 business days after your event. You can track all payouts in your Organizer Dashboard.
Can I use my own branding?
Pro and Enterprise plans include custom branding options. Add your logo, colors, and custom URL to your event pages.
What analytics do I get?
Real-time dashboards showing ticket sales, revenue trends, attendee demographics, marketing ROI by channel, and AI-powered insights like Best Time to Launch.
