Mega Ride is operated by Mega Tickets USA. It is the software a chauffeur or limousine company runs its operation on: bookings, fleet, chauffeurs, dispatch and the live ride. Companies license it; their passengers and their chauffeurs remain theirs.
Licensed chauffeur and limousine operators in the United States. Each company keeps its own brand, its own fleet and its own chauffeurs; Mega Ride is the system underneath. Because of that, everything the software sends on behalf of a company carries that company name, rather than the Mega Ride or Mega Tickets USA name.
Mega Tickets USA is the sender registered with the US mobile carriers for these messages. There is exactly one kind of text, and it goes to chauffeurs only.
| Who receives it | Chauffeurs of the companies that license Mega Ride. There is no public sign-up — a number can only enter the programme after a licensing company adds that chauffeur to its fleet. |
|---|---|
| When | When a company assigns a ride to one of its own chauffeurs. |
| How often | About one message per ride assigned. A busy week brings several a day; a quiet one brings none. |
| Never | No marketing, no promotions, and no passenger messaging under this programme. |
A real message, sent on behalf of a licensing company:
Receiving these texts is optional, and is never a condition of anything. A chauffeur who declines still has a full account, still appears in dispatch, still receives ride assignments and still sees every ride in the app. The only difference is that no text is sent.
In the Mega Ride dispatch console, the add and edit chauffeur form carries a consent checkbox beside the phone number. It is never pre-checked, and it never carries over from one chauffeur to the next. The record stores who confirmed it and when. Left unchecked, no message is ever sent to that number. The wording on that form, verbatim:
☐ This chauffeur agreed to receive ride-assignment texts at this number.
Msg & data rates may apply · reply STOP to stop, HELP for help · they can switch it off in the app at any time.
In the MegaRide Chauffeur app for iPhone, under More → Ride alerts by SMS. Switching it on asks for confirmation and shows, verbatim:
Ride alerts by SMS
Get a text when a ride is assigned to you — about one per ride, and nothing else. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop, or HELP for help. You can switch this off here at any time.
[ Cancel ] [ Turn on ]
Switching it off takes one tap and asks nothing. Opting out never carries friction that opting in did not.
The app also offers this once, the first time a chauffeur who has never decided opens it, with the same wording (ending "You can switch this off at any time in More › Ride alerts by SMS.") and two buttons, [ Not now ] and [ Turn on ]. Nothing is pre-selected, Not now records nothing, and a chauffeur who has switched it off is never asked again.

Reply HELP to any message for help, or email contact@megaticketsusa.com. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. In practice the number reaches only our messaging provider, for the single purpose of delivering the message, and goes nowhere else.
